"The American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges was founded in 1974. It is the only organization exclusively devoted to providing a national forum for the improvement of mathematics instruction in the first two years of college."

Established in 1995 by the Association for Symbolic Logic (ASL), to provide a journal of high standards that would be both accessible and of interest to as wide an audience as possible. Papers deal with any aspect of logic, including mathematical or philosophical logic, logic in computer science or linguistics, the history or philosophy of logic, or applications of logic to other fields. The Bulletin publishes expository articles on contemporary mathematical research, written in a way that gives insight to mathematicians who may not be experts in the particular topic. The Bulletin also publishes reviews of selected books in mathematics and Mathematical Perspectives. (1891-present)

The Mathematical Gazette is the original journal of the Mathematical Association. Its readership is a mixture of school teachers, college and university lecturers, educationalists and others with an interest in mathematics. Find articles about the teaching and learning of mathematics, with a focus on the 15-20 age range, and expositions of attractive areas of mathematics. This journal, begun in 1943 as Mathematical Tables and Other Aids to Computation, publishes original articles on all aspects of numerical mathematics, book reviews, mathematical tables, and technical notes. It is devoted to advances in numerical analysis, the application of computational methods, high speed calculating, and other aids to computation. JSTOR has content from 1960-2005.

Each issue contains one or two such expository articles that describe current developments in mathematical research, written by professional mathematicians. "This resource is a set of instructional materials developed to help beginning physics students build a solid understanding of vector algebra." Two PDF lectures and an assessment offer overview of terminology, vector notation, and methods for solving vector-related problems. The goal is to help students differentiate between the uses of vectors in mathematics vs. physics. developed by the NSF-funded Mathematics Across the Community College Curriculum (MAC3).
