Affordable Housing: An Unnatural Disaster: Newspaper Articles

Using Newspapers for Research

For current events research, newspapers are often the best source for up to date information.

Articles in major US newspapers are likely to be written by professional journalists who present issues in an unbiased fashion and support their statements with evidence, including:

  • quotations by the experts they interviewed
  • links to reports mentioned in the article
  • facts such as dates and statistics
  • active links to newspaper articles on related topics
