This club is an LGBTQ rights activist club. It is a safe space for students, staff and faculty who can feel free to be themselves as well as talk, teach and learn about LGBTQ history, rights and issues.

Provides social activities and information for the adult LGBT community in SF Bay Area.

ACLU - American Civil Liberties Union - LGBT Rights Project
The mission of this project is to fight discrimination against LGBT individuals and families.

American Library Association Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Round Table (GLBTRT)
Serves the information needs of the GLBT professional library community and the GLBT information and access needs of individuals at large.

Campus Pride
A nonprofit organization for student leaders and campus groups developing resources, programs and services to support LGBT and ally students on college campuses across the United States.  Includes link to Campus Pride National Scholarship Database.

COLAGE - Children of Gays and Lesbians Everywhere
Supports and advocates for children of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender families.

GLAAD - Gay & Lesbians Allaince Against Defamation
Promotes fair and accurate representation of people and events in the media to eliminate homophobia and discrimination based on gender identity and sexual orientation.

GLSEN - Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network
National education organization focused on ensuring safe schools for all students.

Human Rights Campaign
Civil rights lobbyiing organization that advocates for equality on behalf of all LGBT Americans.  

International Gay & Lesbian Human Rights Commission (IGLHRC)
Focuses on international aspects of gay and lesbian human rights. Works with local activists to confront human rights violations at home.

Lambda Legal
National legal organization supporting the civil rights of LGBT people and those with HIV through litigation, education and public policy work.

PFLAG - Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays
An organization committed to advancing equality and societal acceptance of LGBT people through support, education and advocacy. PFLAG chapters located in Sunnyvale, San Cruz, San Francisco, Oakland/East Bay and Danville/San Ramon.
