November 5, 2024 is Election Day!

In California, the deadline to register to vote for any election is 15 days before Election Day, so please register early!

October 21, 2024 is the last day to register to vote for the November 5, 2024 General Election. If you miss the deadline, go to any Voting Location. You can register and vote on the same day – all the way up through Election Day.
All California active registered voters will receive a vote-by-mail ballot for the November 5, 2024, General Election.

Return your vote-by-mail ballot by mail with prepaid postage postmarked on or before Election day and received no later than November 12, 2024, or in-person to a secure ballot drop box, to a voting location or your county elections office by 8:00 p.m. on November 5, 2024.
