How to use Jstor, through the De Anza Library

How to use the Browsing Function

You can use the Browse function alongside Search to look through JSTOR's offerings. You can browse through several aspects, including Subjects and titles.

Browse dropdown menu

Click or hover over the Browse button to display the dropdown menu.

You can choose:

By subject - Choose through disciplines and subcategories, similar to the Subject refinement filters for search results.

By title - an alphabetical list of titles

Publishers - various publishers of articles and images

Collections - Custom-made collections of images and articles, created by JSTOR

Images - images sorted by categories, created by JSTOR. You can also sort by geography!

Browse by subject - featured subjects showcased
