You can browse the collection without logging in, but borrowing or viewing samples require you to log in with your MyPortal information.
Clicking "Next" will open the MyPortal webpage. Log in with your CWID and password, then you'll be rerouted to the collection. Congratulations! Now you can check out material.
Navigating the website is straight forward. The website is segmented into sections such as "Newly Added Books" and "Popular Fiction". Click on a category to open the collection page.
Alternatively, use the search tool at the bottom of the page to look up authors, titles, and subjects.
The collection view shows singular items. Each entry shows the title, author, book cover, and a brief snippet. You can borrow, read a sample, or categorize the book with a "tag" to create your own collections.
The card icon lets you see which libraries you have attached to your Libby account has the item. You need to connect multiple cards for this feature to work.
After clicking on an item, the item's information pane will open up. This shows:
When you click Borrow, it'll open the borrowing screen.
Click Borrow to check the book out to your card. You can then decide whether to send it to a Kindle, download an ePub, or read it through your browser using Libby!
